Abortive Costs

In cases where we receive a cancellation of an order before it is delivered, we will invoke the abortive costs clause contained in our customer agreement. Once we receive a cancellation notice, it can take up to seven calendar days for the cancellation to be processed. The abortive costs will comprise any expenses that we have incurred in fulfilling the order up until the cancellation process has been concluded.

We will issue a quotation for any abortive costs incurred as a result of cancellations during a month. The quotation must be countersigned and returned within seven business days from the date of receipt. If we do not receive the countersigned abortive-costs quotation within seven business days, the abortive costs will automatically be added to the subsequent invoice.
