Communicating Time Frames

We will be conducting intensive daily reviews of our resources and commitments. Field team assignments on CA Service Desk Manager will now be accompanied by a realistic time frame for the team to arrive on site, based on the resources available and their current workload. These will be confirmed ETAs as far as possible, but any changes in the schedule will be updated in CA Service Desk Manager.

WhatsApp Groups

WhatsApp Groups will be officially discontinued by the end of 31 October 2023. We urge all customers to familiarize themselves with the Escalation Matrix and distribute this amongst their teams.

We are aware that many clients rely on WhatsApp groups to have direct communication with multiple stakeholders. However, normalizing this into a consistent escalation process requires that we eliminate this temporary solution, and fully embrace the new process.

s

Our NOC team is generally managing a high volume of incidents. Our entire team is fully engaged with follow-up and feedback on these incidents, and some customers may experience a delayed response from our support and escalation channels.

We ask for your patience while we deal with the volume of incoming incidents.

— Carel De Nysschen, Executive: Network Operations Centre
